Is news trading allowed?

For funded accounts: all trades must be closed 5 minutes before the news release and traders must wait until 5 minutes after the news release to open or resume trading.

The prohibited trading windows apply specifically to the following news events:

• FOMC (Federal Open Market Committee announcements) and Fed Chair Speeches.
• NFP (Non-Farm Payrolls)
• CPI (Consumer Price Index)
• PPI (Producer Price Index)
• All individual stock earnings reports (including pre-market, during market hours, and post-market releases)
