How is the Max Total Loss Limit calculated on Pro Accounts?

The Max Total Loss Limit on a 2 Step Pro Account is 6%.

On 1 Step and Instant Funded Pro Accounts, it is 5%.

Your maximum trailing drawdown is set at 6% or 5% of your starting account balance during the evaluation, depending on your account type.

How does it work?

Max trailing drawdown includes all closed-trade profits and losses, swap fees, and commissions.

Examples on 2 Step Pro Accounts

$100K account with $8,000 profit

With a balance of $108,000, your max trailing drawdown locks at the starting balance of $100,000 after you achieve 6% profit.

Once your equity reaches $106,000 on an account with a 6% Max Total Loss Limit, the limit stays at $100,000, even if you make further profits. It will no longer trail.

$100K account with $5,000 profit

With a balance of $105,000, the max trailing drawdown is:

$105,000 - $6,000 = $99,000
